La Cenicienta Érase una vez una joven verdaderamente bella que había perdido a sus padres, por lo que acabó con una madrastra. Le ordenó que se quedase en casa fregando el suelo y preparando la cena para que cuando llegasen las tres todo estuviese ya hecho. Cenicienta así lo hizo, y cuando vio partir a sus hermanastras en dirección a la fiesta del Palacio Real, no pudo evitar sentirse desgraciada y ponerse a llorar. En ese momento se le apareció su Hada Madrina, diciéndole que no tenía por qué preocuparse, que ella también iría al baile, pero con la condición de que cuando en el reloj de Palacio marcasen las doce de la noche, debería volver a casa. El Hada tocó a Cenicienta con su varita y la convirtió en una joven increíblemente bella, con un precioso vestido y un peinado impresionante. Para poder llegar a la fiesta, convirtió una calabaza en carruaje, al cual subió Cenicienta. Al llegar a Palacio, todos se quedaron mirándola, y el príncipe, al ver su fantástica belleza, se acercó y bailó toda la noche con ella. Nadie la había reconocido, ni tan siquiera sus hermanastras. Al llegar las doce, sonó el reloj de Palacio y Cenicienta atravesó el salón corriendo, pero en su huida perdió uno de sus zapatos. El príncipe lo recogió con el objetivo de poder volver a encontrar a la joven. Al día siguiente, el príncipe dijo que se casaría con la persona que pudiese calzarse ese zapato. Todos sus sirvientes recorrieron el reino en busca de la mujer a la que pertenecía. Finalmente llegaron a casa de la madrastra de Cenicienta. Sus hermanas no pudieron calzarse el zapato, pero cuando llegó Cenicienta, vieron que le quedaba perfecto. El príncipe decidió casarse con ella y a partir de entonces, ambos fueron felices y comieron perdices.
