Little Red Riding Hood Once upon a time, there was a very pretty girl who lived in the forest with her mother, who had made her a red cape to protect her from the cold and wind. The girl liked her hood so much, she wore it all the time, so everyone called her Little Red Riding Hood. One day, her grandmother who lived across the forest became ill and her mother asked her to bring her some cakes, fruits and honey. Dear little daughter, take this food to your grandmother and above all do not stray from the path, because there are wolves in the forest and it is very dangerous - she told her. Little Red Riding Hood had to cross the forest to get to her grandmother's house, but she wasn't afraid because she always met many friends there: the birds, the squirrels. . . Suddenly the wolf appeared in front of her; it was very, very big and with its hoarse, fearsome voice, asked her: Where are you going, Little Red Riding Hood? To my grandmother's house," said Little Red Riding Hood. I challenge you to a race," said the wolf, "to see who gets to your grandmother's house first. I'll give you a head start, I'll take the long way, you can take this shortcut. All right," said Little Red Riding Hood, "not knowing that the shortcut was actually a longer way. Little Red Riding Hood set out through the woods, ignoring her mother and entertaining herself by picking flowers. Meanwhile, the wolf went very quickly to the grandmother’s house, without stopping; he knocked on the door and the old woman opened the door thinking it was Little Red Riding Hood. The big bad wolf devoured Granny, got into bed and put on Granny's nightgown and pink hat. Little Red Riding Hood arrived at the house happy and when she saw the open door, she came in and went to the bedroom and was surprised that her grandmother looked different. Granny, granny, what big eyes you have! All the better to see you with," said the wolf imitating grandmother's voice. Granny, granny, what big ears you have! All the better to hear you with," continued the wolf. Granny, granny, what big teeth you have! All the better to… eat you with!!" shouted the wolf rushing at Little Red Riding Hood. Little Red Riding Hood started running around the room screaming desperately. Meanwhile, a hunter who was passing by at the time heard Little Red Riding Hood’s scream and ran to her aid. He entered the house and saw the wolf trying to devour her. The hunter struck the Wolf hard on the head and it fell to the ground. Then he pulled the granny, who was still alive, out of the wolf’s belly. When it woke up, the wolf ran away and never bothered them again. Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother suffered nothing but a nasty fright and Little Red Riding Hood had learned her lesson. She promised her grandmother that she would never leave the path, as her mother had told her, and that she would not talk to any strangers along the way.
