Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother suffered nothing but a nasty fright and Little Red Riding Hood had learned her lesson. She promised her grandmother that she would never leave the path, as her mother had told her, and that she would not talk to any strangers along the way.

Девочке так понравилась эта шапочка, что она стала носить её всегда, и поэтому её стали называть Красная Шапочка. Однажды её бабушка, которая жила на другом конце леса, заболела, и мама попросила дочку отнести ей пирожки, фрукты и мёд. - Доченька, отнеси бабушке гостинцы, только никуда не сворачивай с дороги, потому что это опасно - в лесу живут волки,- сказала мама. Чтобы добраться до дома бабушки Красная Шапочка должна была пересечь лес, но она не боялась, ведь по пути она всегда встречала много друзей: птичек, белочек... Вдруг перед ней появился огромный волк и спросил её страшным хриплым голосом: - Куда ты идёшь, Красная Шапочка? - В гости к бабушке,- ответила девочка. - Давай наперегонки,- предложил ей волк, - посмотрим, кто быстрее доберется до дома твоей бабушки. Я тебе уступлю эту тропинку, она короче, а сам пойду длинной дорогой. - Хорошо, - согласилась Красная Шапочка, не зная, что на самом деле её тропинка была длиннее. И она побежала по тропинке, собирая по пути цветы, забыв про то, что ей говорила мама. Тем временем волк быстро добежал до дома бабушки, постучал в дверь, и старушка ему открыла, думая, что это Красная Шапочка. Свирепый волк проглотил бабушку, а сам одел её халат, розовую шапочку и улёгся в её постель. Красная Шапочка довольная добралась до дома, вошла в открытую дверь, подошла к кровати и с удивлением увидела, что бабушка на себя не похожа. - Бабушка, бабушка, какие у тебя большие глаза! - Это чтобы лучше тебя видеть,- ответил волк, подражая бабушкиному голосу. - Бабушка, бабушка, какие у тебя большие уши! - Это чтобы лучше тебя слышать,- продолжал волк. - Бабушка, бабушка, какие у тебя большие зубы! - А это… чтоб скорее тебя съесть!- прорычал волк, набросившись на Красную Шапочку. Красная Шапочка начала бегать по комнате, отчаянно зовя на помощь. В это время мимо проходил один охотник. Услышав крики, он бросился на помощь, вбежал в дом и увидел, как волк пытается поймать и съесть девочку. Охотник со всей силы так ударил волка по голове, что тот рухнул без сознания. Тогда он вытащил бабушку, которая оказалась жива, из волчьего живота. Очнувшись, волк убежал и больше никогда их не беспокоил. Красная Шапочка и бабушка не пострадали, а просто испугались. А для девочки это послужило уроком. Она пообещала бабушке больше никогда не сворачивать с дороги, как ей и велела мама, и никогда не разговаривать с незнакомцами.
